Pictures folder not showing in Win 7 Explorer Jump List
I have Windows Explorer pinned to the TaskBar, when I right click I get the Jump List showing the 10 most recent folders, and at the top, the folders I have pinned to the Jump List by right clicking a recent one and choosing “Pin to this list”. Other folders show up if I access them once or twice but Pictures never shows.
Is there a way to either manually pin the folder to the Jump List or delete the Jump List data for Windows Explorer and start again? Brilliantly simple, thanks.
But I still don’t understand why the Pictures folder won’t show up in the recent folders, although now it doesn’t really matter as the actual problem pinning Pictures is solved. You can pin almost any folder from your computer, not only those in your “Frequent” list. Simply drag the Pictures folder to the Windows Explorer icon in the taskbar and you will see that this triggers the “Pin to Windows Explorer” action, just what you want.
